Onsite recycling bins:
We have 4 sets of recycling bins. They are located just south of the mailboxes, in front of units 85 and 102 and across from unit 58. They are operated by Central Texas Refuse (http://centraltexasrefuse.com) 512-243-2833. There is a sign near them describing what can and cannot be placed in them. An image of that picture is at the bottom of this page. It is single stream recycling which means a number of different types of waste can be thrown in together. However, there are some things which you should not place in this bin; use the regular trash bin next to it. Don’t forget to break down your boxes so we don’t overflow the bin.
Things you can put into the recycling bin:
Paper: newspaper, cardboard, grocery boxes, paper bags, magazines, junk mail
Plastic: water bottles, soda bottles, milk bottles, plastic food containers (plastic #1-#7)
Glass: bottles and jars (clear, green, brown)
Metal: aluminum, tin and steel cans
Things you should not put into the recycling bin:
Garbage, plastic bags, Styrofoam, Pyrex, pizza boxes, wax coated items, ceramics, food scraps, yard waste, leaves, construction debris, garden hoses, clothing, light bulbs, electronics

Trash that can’t be recycled goes in the dumpsters
Rules for the dumpsters:
No concrete.
All items must fit inside the dumpster. Large items will need to be broken down into smaller pieces. Don’t leave items on the ground beside the dumpster.
If you remodel your unit, your contractor should not use the dumpster and instead haul off the debris elsewhere.
Please do not park your car in front of the dumpsters. This would block the driver from picking up the dumpster.

Bulk trash items
The City of Austin will do bulk pick up for Reflections II every 6 months but owner must call or email them in advance to arrange. The bulk items must also be placed out on the curb on Gracy Farms Lane itself (outside the complex) in order to be collected. Owners can send an email request for pick up to the city using the email form located on this URL:
